Benjamin Hourigan is the manager of Selector, an online product directory serving the architecture, building and construction, interior design, and landscape architecture industries.
At age 28, he has been the editor at Australia’s leading free market think-tank, edited Australian architecture and design magazines, and been interviewed by radio station ABC Melbourne and for articles syndicated in the The Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, and CBS News.
His writing has appeared in publications including The Age, News Weekly, and the IPA Review. He is also the editor of more than fifty research monographs, corporate publications, essay collections, magazines, op-eds, and books.
In mid-2010, Ben will graduate with an MBA from the University of New England. In 2008, he was part of the first cohort of Australian editors to pass the Institute of Professional Editors’ national accreditation examinations, becoming entitled to use the postnominals AE (accredited editor), and freelances through Sabertext Editorial Consulting.
