Christmas comic 2010

Last year, I made a Christmas comic for some of my friends, and this year, having forgotten to bring a card for him home with me, I’ve made one for my younger brother, Daniel.

I’m particularly pleased that this one features Spartacus.

To my brother, Daniel–Christmas 2010

Through all conditions
foul and fair
To distant isles
through the air
With steely jaws
we bide our time
Through winters bound
in icy rime
To flourish through
another year
So merry Christmas,
brother dear.

Again we’ll dare
to live so well
We’ll laugh into
the maw of hell
We’ll sight the face
of Death in black
And fend him off
with pints and craic
We’ll triumph yet
where most men fail
In this next year
of bold travail.
